On depression…

Depression is lying to you. Depression is a mean machine. And depression does NOT care.

These are lies depression tells you:

  • You can't get out of bed.

  • You won't make it to work

  • You aren't good enough.

  • You deserve to be alone, forever.

  • No one likes you.

  • You are more harm than you are good. You are worthless.

  • You are hopeless.

  • No one can help you.

  • It will never get better.

I care about you, and I say:

Depression is lying and you can stop believing it. When you start listening to your own voice instead. Whatever depression tells you to do, counteract with what you want to do. Tell yourself daily what you are worth. Prove the lying dirty dog depression wrong.

How can we start?

Say to yourself daily:

  • I will put two feet on the floor, today.

  • I will make it to work.

  • I am good enough.

  • I am good enough.

  • I deserve everything that life has given me, and more.

  • I am well liked

  • lam good.

  • I am worthy.

  • I have hope.

  • I will get help and I will get better.

Depression may feel like a V strong force, but I promise YOU are stronger.
